It's a new year - day one!

The new year started off with a tiny elbow in the eye.  Thanks Bubbles.

This was our day of eating.

Breakfast:
Green smoothie (recipe from HERE)  I omitted the rapadura.  Kids loved it, they all had it for breakfast too.


Morning tea:
Post weights workout so I needed a good hit of protein.  Some ham, boiled egg and carrot sticks.


Lunch:
Salad - Baby spinach, pumpkin, chicken, grapes and a squeeze of lemon juice. I was totally going to put walnuts in as well but I forgot.


Afternoon tea:
Zucchini Hommus (recipe from HERE) and some carrot sticks.  Even the kids had some!!  It was awesome.


Dinner:
Chicken bake (I got the recipe out of a magazine and adapted it to paleo) plus some cauliflower mash.


Dessert:
Paleo friendly ice cream!  Bananas, cacao and dates.  Yummo.


Supper:
With my usual cup of tea (made with almond milk) I had some chocolate balls that I made today, no recipe, just chucked stuff in.  They were pretty nice.  Plus a casharoo bar - love these things!  I got it from the recipe HERE


Health wise:  I've had a headache on and off all day - not sure if its the coffee withdrawals or the junk food hangover.  Hopefully I will wake up feeling better tomorrow, with or without the elbow meets eye issue.
