Day 7

Woot, 7 whole days of eating paleo and I feel great!! I actually feel more happier and more controlled, especially when it comes to the kids.  Which is good!

Today's eats:
Breakfast:
CADA.  Recommended to me by my beautiful friend, Selina.  Coconut, almonds, dates and apple - blitzed in the thermomix for a few seconds.  We added blueberries. It was yum, super simple and so very paleo.  Love it!


Morning tea:
After my Jillian Michaels session, I had some carrot sticks and zucchini hommus. And a lemon ball.  And some Casharoo.  I'm addicted.

Lunch:
Scrambled eggs made by the lovely other half.  Eggs, spinach, shallots, cherry tomatoes, pepitas, dried cranberries.  It was, interesting?


Afternoon tea:
Banana.  Bit too ripe actually, have to freeze them!  Plus one of the chicken balls I had cooked up for dinner, I pinched one when it was just out of the oven.

Dinner:
Chicken balls and vegies :)  Simple yet satisfying.  Although I did cook the chicken balls for a bit too long and they were as dry as anything.  So that wasn't so satisfying. I squeezed some lime over them though, since we don't have sauce or anything made up yet.


Dessert:
Whipped up another ice cream today.  Bananas, cacao, dates, cacao nibs and a bit of peppermint essence.  Think I put too much in and then remembered that I wasn't supposed to be having it - AGAIN!  I swear, my mind.....so we had a couple of spoonfuls with fresh blueberries and some cherries.

Supper:
Cup of tea, fruit leather and casharoo. No more lemon balls.  Sad panda.
