I have a pimple brewing. Fantastic.
Today's eats!
Breakfast:
Our muesli concoction based on a recipe from HERE except this is how I did it. Put the chia seeds, flax meal, goji berries and sunflower seeds in almond milk overnight. Then in the morning I added half a grated apple, a quarter of a banana cut up and heated it for 30 seconds in the microwave. Then I took it out, stirred it, added more milk, some shredded coconut, and added another quarter of the banana on top, some blueberries and 1/3 teaspoon of honey. Then I heated for another 30 seconds, and put the hemp seeds in (apparently you shouldn't heat hemp seeds because they lose all nutritional benefit, so add after cooking. Oh, not that I was eating the hemp seeds since its not allowed here, I added them to my "other" bowl). It was so YUMMY!
Morning tea:
After my weights session and 5 minute jog, I had an egg, small handful of grapes, a few cherries, strawberries and a carrot.
Lunch:
I was going out at lunch time, so I grabbed a Casharoo and an apple and snacked on them instead of preparing lunch. When I got back, I had a chicken salad, so a small piece of grilled chicken, some pumpkin, spinach, walnuts and red grapes. With a squeeze of lime juice over the top.
Afternoon tea:
2 chocolate balls and a cup of tea at the kid's dinner time. No pics, its just balls. Oh and I had a taste test of the new paleo ice cream I whipped up... just a tiny bit.
Dinner:
Tacos!
Pork and veal mince, garlic, spring onion, carrot and can of tomatoes - all mixed up and then put into lettuce cups! I also chopped up some tomato and put them on top of it :)
Dessert:
Another version of paleo ice cream! Frozen bananas, a little bit of cacao cos we were nearly out, about 100g of frozen blueberries, and 2 handfuls of dates. Blitzed in thermo, with a little almond milk added to make a little more sloppy. Then topped with some fresh strawberries.
Supper:
A cup of tea with almond milk and some balls and a casharoo. Just cos I can.
Health:
I have to say that I'm feeling really well in my belly. My bloating is slowly going down and I don't feel sick in the guts when I'm going to bed every night. I'm not craving anything either (yet!) I have two tim tams in my fridge that I see when I open the door, and I don't want them!
